East Providence Community Theatre is pleased to announce upcoming auditions for
"Nightsong: A New Vampiric Musical"

Synopsis: Robert is a 300-year old vampire, who's been feeling off lately. It doesn't help that Vivienne, his eternal lover, has grown increasingly cold over the years; she views humans as little more than a source of sustenance, while Robert still finds them fascinating. However, a new conquest soon catches Robert's eye: Andrea, a naive human who's been widowed for nearly two years. It just so happens that Andrea is under the "spiritual guidance" of Jacqueline, Robert's best friend and fellow vampire. Desperate to be closer to Andrea -- but not wanting to pursue her physically, for many reasons -- he asks Jacqueline to help him use an ancient, forbidden power called the Nightsong. Using this power, Robert enters Andrea's dreams while she sleeps, drawing her fragile mind ever closer to him.

-Father, the local Vampire Lord
-Thomas, Andrea's deceased husband

-Chorus (including Waitress, Servant, cityfolk, etc. - at least 2F, 1M)

Auditions will be July 24th from 6-10PM and July 25th from 11AM-2PM at the Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts on the Rhode Island College campus. Look for signs pointing you to the audition room.
Appointments are encouraged but not necessary.
